The Stories Feed is the first section you access when entering letterpal’s Content Room.
It contains all the news stories our custom engine was able to identify throughout the web, across all the topics that we support (including AI, crypto, business, finance, SEO, and more). For each and every piece of news, we used AI to create a summary which will allow you to re-purpose the news inside your own newsletter.
Filtering Stories
You can tailor the Stories Feed to your needs by making use of the filters we have created. Those include topic filters, allowing you to select which industries you want to show news pieces for, as well as filters based on the length or date of each news story.
Labels
Labels give you an indication about the story you’re looking at.
Here are some of the labels we have created:
- Super Fresh: means the story is very recent (less than 24 hours ago)
- Popular: means the story is getting picked up by multiple sources
- Featured Story Compatible: means you can use this story in the “Featured Story” section of the template
Getting More Info About A Story
You can get a more complete picture of most news you find in the Stories Feed by clicking on the ‘See More’ at the bottom.
This will open up a window containing all the info we currently have about the news.
And if you’d like to learn even more about it, you can also press the magnifying glass icon 🔎 next to the title which will open up Google with a search query corresponding to the story.
Adding Stories To Your Template
When you find a news story which your audience will want to hear about, just add it to your template.
There are 2 ways you can do that:
- Drag & drop: just left-click and hold on any news story and drag that story inside of a template section
- “Add to” button: click on it and decide which template section to add the story to
Important note: some stories are considered too short to be used in the Featured Story section. The ones that are compatible are labeled “Featured Story Compatible”.
Once you’ve filled up your template, just press the “Generate New Issue” button to generate a newsletter based on all the news stories you’ve selected.
