When you generate a newsletter using letterpal, it will be made available to you in an intuitive and simple text editor.
Here are all the little things you need to know about it.
Using the Editor
When you generate a newsletter with letterpal, you will be redirected to a Notion-like text editor which contains the generated edition.
Similar to Notion, you can add, modify and delete all the elements within the editor, whether by selecting the text or using /command functions.
These commands will allow you to create different types of headings, add media, create bulletpoint lists and edit the general appearance of the text.
Everything you write in a document is automatically saved after a few seconds, so don’t worry about having to press a button or anything like that.
If you want to permanently delete a newsletter, you can simply press the trash 🗑️ button at the top.
Exporting to Beehiiv, Substack and more
Our editor is compatible with most of the newsletter platforms out there, including Beehiiv and Substack.
This means that you can easily copy/paste the content from our editor to Beehiiv’s or Substack’s editor, and it will preserve all the formatting.
All you need to do to copy the content is perform a cmd+A (Mac) or ctrl+A (Windows) keyboard shortcut to select all the content, and cmd+C (Mac) or ctrl+C (Windows) to copy it. Then just head over to your newsletter and paste the content with cmd+V (Mac) or ctrl+V (Windows).
When Beehiiv and Substack decide to release features allowing us to do automatic exports, creating a direct integration will become our top priority.
